Our bootcamp

During our bootcamp you will take your first steps into your restaurant career. In just a few days we cover the obvious, such as how to properly use a knife. But also the not-so-obvious, like how to deal with paperwork.

The curriculum

 

Day 1

After a team breakfast, we’ll start on key areas of professional development such as resume building, workplace communication, interviewing and employment forms.

 

Day 2

It’s time to get real in the kitchen! Day two is packed full of practical topics such as sanitation, food cooling and storage and knife handling. Be ready to cut a lot of vegetables!

 

Day 3

It’s another day in the kitchen for a deeper dive into the physical and mental skills you’ll need. We’ll talk about culinary measurements and math, foundational cooking principles and we’ll continue developing those knife skills.

 

Day 4

We wrap up with an opportunity for questions and practice interviews with the instructors. After lunch, we’ll host a meet and greet with hiring managers to secure job offers!
